Sara and Kyle are brand new to the motorhome lifestyle. Since their kids have grown older, they've been inspired to show them this great nation that we live in and what better way to see it than by traveling in their motorhome! Sometimes it's not just the destination but the journey and traveling in their Entegra Coach Vision XL that allows them to enjoy the journey. Their travel plans will mostly revolve around weekends and extended weekends, so it’s a perfect fit for them with both working full time and two children in school. This lifestyle does require a bit of warrior spirit, as they are often on a tighter schedule with fewer days to reach their destination and make the most of the experience. They are excited to use the motorhome to explore every state and venture off the beaten path.
When it comes to camping, every family’s journey is unique—and so is the motorhome that gets them there. For us, finding the right fit wasn’t as simple as picking a floorplan and hitting the road. It took time, research, and a few compromises to land on the perfect coach—and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
From the beginning, we had very different visions of what our ideal motorhome looked like.
I (Sara) had been researching campers for a few years before we were seriously ready to buy. For me, the top priorities were comfort, livability, and aesthetics. I wanted a motorhome that felt like home inside—cozy, functional, and beautiful. I was drawn to smaller coaches that felt less intimidating on the road and more practical for everyday travel and campground setups.
Kyle, on the other hand, came in with a big-picture mindset—literally. He was set on a diesel coach, something with power, towing capacity, and plenty of space for their family’s adventures. For him, the bigger the better.
It might sound like a recipe for gridlock—but we shared one very important priority that helped guide the search: quality and reputation. From day one, we agreed that owning something built by the Entegra Coach was a non-negotiable. We knew we wanted a coach backed by a trusted name known for durability, thoughtful design, and excellent customer support.
After months of searching and narrowing down options, we finally found the coach that checked enough boxes for both. It wasn’t the smallest or the biggest option—but it offered the best of both worlds: beautifully designed interiors that felt like home for me, and the power, space, and features Kyle had hoped for. Together, we found a motorhome that reflected our shared goals, values, and lifestyle.
Looking back, here are a few tips the we recommend when choosing your own motorhome:
✅ List your “must-haves” vs. “nice-to-haves.” This helped us stay focused and flexible—without compromising on what mattered most.
✅ Consider how and where you’ll travel. Think about the size of campgrounds you prefer, how often you’ll be on the road, and the kind of storage or hookups you’ll need.
✅ Think long-term. While it’s tempting to focus on what you need right now, plan for growth—kids getting older, longer trips, and changing comfort levels.
✅ Don’t underestimate livability. The finishes, layout, and features inside your motorhome can make a big difference in how enjoyable life on the road really feels.
✅ Choose a brand you can trust. Entegra Coach gave us peace of mind. From quality construction to reliable service, we knew we were in good hands.
Now, with our dream coach ready to roll, we are embracing every moment of the camping lifestyle—whether it’s hiking new trails, exploring small towns, or gathering around the campfire with our family. Our motorhome is more than just a vehicle—it’s a launchpad for adventure, connection, and memories that will last a lifetime.
