Why We Chose the Entegra Coach Vision XL

When we first started looking at motorhomes, we quickly realized there wasn’t one perfect motorhome for every family. For us, choosing a Class A came down to finding the right balance of space, comfort, design, features and price. Ultimately, it checked the boxes that mattered most to our family.
One of our biggest priorities was finding a motorhome we could truly enjoy traveling in as a family. Our kids aren’t huge fans of long road trips in a smaller vehicle and with car sickness being something we occasionally deal with, we wanted travel days to feel like part of the adventure rather than something we had to get through.
The Vision XL gave us the space to completely change that experience. Instead of being confined to a small seat for hours, everyone has room to spread out, relax and enjoy the ride. We have a living area, kitchen, bathroom and sleeping spaces all in one place. It feels less like we're simply traveling to a destination and more like the vacation begins the moment we pull out of the driveway.

Space and layout were also major factors for us. We wanted enough room for our family to spend time together comfortably without feeling like we were constantly on top of each other.
Then, there are features that made our motorhome feel even more like home. A washer and dryer were must-haves. When you're traveling as a family, especially on longer trips, being able to do laundry on the road is key.
We also loved the indoor and outdoor living spaces that come with our Vision XL. Whether we're gathered around the TV on a rainy evening, cooking dinner, relaxing outside, or enjoying a movie under the stars, our motorhome gives us plenty of options for how we spend our time.
Of course, aesthetics mattered to me too. I wanted a motorhome that felt modern, comfortable and visually appealing, not just functional. But as we compared newer Diesel Class A motorhomes, price became a major consideration.
We ultimately realized that choosing a gas motorhome allowed us to get a newer, more modern coach with the features, design and layout we wanted while staying within a budget that made sense for our family.
For us, it wasn't about choosing gas over diesel. It was about identifying what mattered most and finding the motorhome that checked those boxes.
That's exactly what our Vision XL has become: a comfortable way to travel, a place to rest and a place to create memories.
The biggest lesson we've learned? Don't choose a motorhome based solely on what everyone else says you should have. Think about how your family actually travels, what makes you comfortable and which features you'll truly use time and time again.
For our family, an Entegra Coach Vision XL Class A turned out to be the perfect fit!
Sara and Kyle Nordman
Sara and Kyle are brand new to the motorhome lifestyle. Since their kids have grown older, they've been inspired to show them this great nation that we live in and what better way to see it than by traveling in their motorhome! Sometimes it's not just the destination but the journey and traveling in their Entegra Coach Vision XL that allows them to enjoy the journey. Their travel plans will mostly revolve around weekends and extended weekends, so it's a perfect fit for them with both working full time and two children in school. This lifestyle does require a bit of warrior spirit, as they are often on a tighter schedule with fewer days to reach their destination and make the most of the experience. They are excited to use the motorhome to explore every state and venture off the beaten path.
